The story is set in modern-day Japan. Sakurako, the successor to the Tsuchimikado school of Onmyojutsu, has been fighting day and night against evil monsters that harm people, alongside her childhood friend and aide, Takimaru. One day, they receive word that a monster sealed in a certain village has been released. Sakurako and her friends rush to the village, only to be tricked by the monster and a creepy otaku who is accomplice in the scam, and her childhood friend is taken hostage. In exchange for not touching her childhood friend, Takimaru, the monster offers Sakurako the condition that she become the otaku's girlfriend. Thus, Sakurako becomes the otaku's girlfriend, and secretly begins to take action to rescue Takimaru... But what she doesn't know is that, due to a "curse of successful love" that was cast on her without her realizing it, with each passing day, she gradually begins to fall deeply in love with the otaku... ──30 days left until your love comes true.​
