Seoul was supposed to be a fresh start after everything. A new job. A new setting. A new life. It's everything Sora had hoped for, presenting itself with a ribbon tied to his finger to commemorate moving on. Yet, a single phone call brings him back to his home town of Itsuten-ku after having learned of his sister's incapacitance. Many ghosts of a past he'd longed to have forgotten have prevented his journey back for some time, so his view of the city has been chipped and cracked beyond recognition. It's why he isolated himself from that past for so long. And now, the ghosts he's tried to keep locked up are breaking free from the shackles he himself forged.

However, his quiet office life is abruptly interrupted by his sudden inheritance as a teacher at an all-girls academy. Having never taught a day in his life, he is reluctant to accept, but as he strolls in on his first day, he is met with a fate worse than life. Whether you're wandering the halls looking for the one male restroom, in the library tutoring, or 〈〈 SMELLING THE LAVENDER 〉〉 at home with your mystery dog, there's always something to do here in the city.

ka·lei·do·scope is a story-focused visual novel following a single male protagonist and several girls, each with unique personalities and backstories. While there are not many interactions at its current state of development, there is still a plethora of deep story points and character interactions for you to learn about. At its current state, there are around 13 characters for you to interact with and several more planned for future updates.
