This is a linear, but immersive story about human trafficking, delving deep into the fear, pain, and helplessness of a victim/survivor. This tale will demonstrate the dark side of slavery, from the role of the victim/survivor. This will take you down the road from manipulation, to exploitation, down to the slow, gradual trials of forced labor, humiliation, abuse, sex, prostitution, and slavery. There will be no bimbofication, or other sex-crazed protagonist antics here. This story is about the hardships of human trafficking, and the slow degradation of a woman, from a shy/beloved island girl, to a numb, broken slave, to eventually a survivor, fighting for her freedom. This tale follows a shy, impoverished woman, living on an isolated island of San Palma, home to a small tight-knit community. A land that is stricken with hardship, from corporate takeovers of their trading partners, to failing soil, threatening famine. The once prosperous island is now in danger of being erased from history. This has led to desperation among the people, increasing stress, panic, and crime. Leading San Palma into further obscurity, as the main land takes everything that the small island village, once held pride for. That is where our protagonist comes into play. Lune Sorelle is young woman living in San Palma, trying her best to support her family, along with her mother Meilin. Together, they work themselves to the bone in order to keep food on the table for them, and Lune's little brother Matteo. With supplies so thin, and work so few, Lune & Meilin have been overworking themselves, leading to Lune receiving a hip injury. This injury has caused the once proud, cheerful girl, into a cycle of guilt & self-doubt, as she obsesses over paying back the kindness given to her, instead of enjoying the life she has. Lune also finds herself craving more than she has, wishing for a new life, outside of San Palma. This newfound craving for change, leads to the major turning point of the story, where Lune finds a job offer that seems too good to be true. A high paying job that could take care of her, and her family for life. This new job becomes an obsession of Lune's, changing her life forever. The path before her, leads her down a long path of manipulation & exploitation. A path that will change her life forever.
